We went down memory lane and spoke with seven of our beloved past Brand Ambassadors and long-time BSG Professionals to find out which Retired Shades is their favourite and holds a special memory. Gel pedicures are always easy as 1,2,3 with no base or top gel polish rarely required for 2+ weeks of high shine chip-free wear.

3STEP Colour Gel Polish is our traditional formula that must always be used with BSG Top Gel Polish and Base Gel Polish. This classic shrink-free and self-leveling formula provides 2+ weeks of high-shine and chip-free colour with the use of a professional LED/UV Lamp. Like all our products, 3STEP also promotes and strengthens natural nail growth and is the perfect option for the health-conscious clients.

BeBio Nail Lacquer is our regular air-dry nail lacquer formula that is highly pigmented and features a smooth, streak-free application. This no-fuss nail polish is simple to remove and allows for clients to change their nail colour more easily. BeBio comes in all matching shades of our 3STEP Colour Gel Polish to offer chic coordinating manicures and pedicures to your clients.

“It's tough to pick but Elegant. Elegant is so underrated, a deep purple (my favorite) with silver flecks, it's my go-to for my toes and needs no base or top coat to make it even faster.”

“I have been using BSG since I started to do nails in 2017, you already know it is so popular in my hometown, everyone loves the colours and how the brush is so easy to control. It helps a lot for new nail techs like me at that time who struggled with colouring.”

“It’s so hard to let you know what is my favourite cause I love them all. Uptown Lights Collection, Tropical Getaway, Deja Vu, Vintage Garden…. They are all so beautiful and I specifically love the UNITY colour, I think that is so smart cause we can finish the pedicure quicker.”

I feel it is so cute how you name it, and one time I was so happy cause I saw the colour name “Edmonton“ yes, I introduced  it to every single client how you mentioned our city and they love that too!”

“Of all the Retired Shades, I’m so so sad to see 76 Cyclone go. It’s one of the first colors to start my vast BSG collection. It is a gorgeous blue that is packed with glitter!”

“I have been using BSG since 2016! I first heard of BSG through my nail instructor at school, who recommended their products as a dependable line. A few months later, my friend Diana and I were hired to work a trade show with them, and the rest is history! Till this day, I use BSG for all gel applications.”

Which is your favourite Retired Shade and why?

“Many of these shades are favorites for me. If I had to pick one must have before it is gone, I would say Blue Hawaii.”

“I’ve been loving and using BSG since 2009, When the owner of BSG came to my salon to advertise BSG. I’ve been a big fan ever since!”

Which is your favourite Retired Shade and why?

“One of my favourite retired shades would have to be #bsgpurpledream! It was the perfect shade of dark purple/plum it very underrated! Beautiful colour for the fall especially paring it with #bsgmorganite to accent it.”

“This colour was such a hit when I would wear it, so many of my clients and even strangers would admire it ask what shade I was wear and even do the same colour as me. I’m really sad that it’s being retired. I’m definitely going to hide my last bottle!”
